ASUS Serbia: DOTA2 Tournament & 12 Overclocking World Records

On the weekend of the 7th – 9th June in Delta City shopping mall, Novi Beograd, Serbia, ASUS held a dual-event; its Gaming Challenge DOTA 2 tournament featuring the FNATIC team, and an overclocking event where the most famous regional Extreme OC team, HW Gurus broke even five world records.

In addition there were activities for visitors including a chance to compete against others in tournaments of World of Tanks, Counter Strike 1.6, Quake 3 and TrackMania, as well as a BeyBlade tournament for the younger visitors.

7 world records beaten

HW GURUS overclocking team got a chance to try, for the first time, the name of Maximus VI Extreme, combining it with the latest ASUS GTX 770 DirectCU II and GTX 780 graphics cards. With modifications to the power hardware and liquid nitrogen cooling to -180°C, the beat secured 12 overclocking world records over the weekend.
