CL5, CL6 And CL7 Memory Records Smashed On ASUS Maximus VI Impact

During recently held Smash and Trash 13 overclocking competition hosted by Ocaholic.ch, Semjons "TaPaKaH" Avdejevs and Marine managed to smash the CL5, CL6 as well as the CL7 world records showing that while the Maximus VI Impact might be a small motherboard, it definitely has it when it comes to memory overclocking!

Semjons "TaPaKaH" Avdejevs and Marine managed to get TaPaKaH's G.Skill memory sticks and take it all the way up to 1491.3MHz (2926.6MHz effective) with CL5 settings, 1619.7MHz (3239.4MHz effective) with CL6 timings and 1611.5MHz (3223MHz effective) with CL7 timings. The Maximus VI Impact was the preferred choice during the Smash and Trash 13 competition, and it definitely helped overclockers there and help them in breaking some other records and achieve some really nice scores!
