Futuremark releases new 3DMark13 v1.2.250 update

Futuremark has released the new major update for its 3DMark (2013) benchmarking software suite that will bring an updated Ice Storm Unlimited benchmark to Windows systems as well as a new overhauled hardware detection system.

The updated Ice Storm Unlimited benchmark test now comes with a maximum settings option that will stress the hardware further and allow the results to be compared to those from iOS and Android devices. The new update also includes the all new hardware detection engine developed by the guys from Techpowerup; the same one behind the popular GPU-Z utility.

The new update will bring hardware monitoring graph for clock speeds and temperatures for both the GPUs as well as CPUs.

The new update can be found both at Techpowerup and Futuremark's 3DMark website.
