[IDF 2016] New Best CPU Frequency on i7-6950X @5731.78MHz
Few hours ago at Intel Developper Forum (IDF) in San Francisco, a new best for CPU frequency on the Intel Core i7-6950X was achieved live.
Reaching 5731.78MHz, Elmor used the ROG Rampage V Edition 10 to reach the maximum performance under LN2 (liquid nitrogen). Compare to the base clock, this is an increase of 91.06% in performance.
Since the launch of the Rampage V Edition 10 and the Broadwell-E 10-core processor, the best CPU frequency was previously established on the Rampage V Edition 10 by the Russian overclocker slamms with a frequency of 5726.84MHz.
