New Geekbench3 World Record Set by Toolius From India

On July 24 2015, Toolius an extreme overclocker from India set a new World Record on Geekbench3 multi-core benchmark with an astonishing score of 75115

Toolius used an ASUS Z11PE-08 WS workstation motherboard and a Intel Xeon E5-2699 v3  processor (36 cores) to attain this new record.

Windows Server 2008 R2 operating system was used for the benching, which is a more stable platform for dual CPU systems. All settings were tweaked and optimized to the highest performance settings for the benchmark.

Below Toolius has shed some light on how he was able to accomplish this feat:

  • AI Overclock Tuner was used to keep the processor running at Turbo speeds of 3.5ghz or higher at all times.
  • DIGI+ VRM Power controls were a main focus and with the Load Line Calibration enabled, it helped to perfectly fine-tune the VRM Frequency.  It's critical to get the CPU cores to stay at maximum power capacity in order to obtain the best performance results.

The CPU cores were set at 103 BCLK and displayed absolute rock solid stability, which is what the chip was able to accomplish on a 1P system.  In order to overclock this chip, it first needs to be set on Auto OC mode, load up into Windows, and then restart and go back to into BIOS to change from Auto OC to Manual OC mode. The system used a total of 64GB of ECC RAM and was overclocked to an amazing speed of 2200 MHz!
