ROG MARS 760 Review Gets Recommended Award From Legitreviews

The MARS 760's critical acclaim continues, with the latest review at Legitreviews adds yet another badge of approval with a Recommended Award.

In its extensive review, including a comparison with many other graphics cards, editors Nathan Kirsch describes the new ASUS ROG MARS 760 4GB as an excellent card for gamers that want to do single monitor gaming; those that are gaming at 2560 x 1600/x 1440, with a high-end enthusiast design that is far from the norm.

Nathan praised the custom 12-phase Super Alloy Power DIGI+ VRM hardware, as well as the custom DirectCU II cooler which did a great job in keeping both GK104 GPUs cool. On overclocking:

"The ASUS MARS 760 comes clocked at 1006MHz on the core, 1072MHz Boost and 1502MHz on the memory. Were able to get the ASUS MARS 760 up to 1131MHz Core, 1197MHz boost and 1560MHz on the 4GB of GDDR5 memory.  This is a 125MHz increase on the core and boost clocks and 58MHz on the memory. Not a bad overclock for a dual-GPU card like this! When gaming we saw both GPUs running at 1241.1MHz."
