ROG OC Showdown Formula Series - Round 1 Results

ROG OC Showdown Formula Series Round 1 dedicated to enthusiast overclockers who use air and water cooling has ended, and the results are now finalized! 

Round One ran from March 6 to April 6,  35 participants from all over the world showcased their overclocking skills in the quest for overclocking glory in Intel XTU, MaxxMem Read Bandwidth and Catzilla 720P.  Here are the rankings after the completion of round one of the Formula Series. Round Two will kick off June 19 and run until July 20th.

Stages details

• Stage1: Intel XTU

nvidiaforever2 won this stage running his Intel i7 4790K @ 5300MHz (+32.50%). He achieved 1396 marks.

 

• Stage2: MaxxMem Read Bandwidth

This target score stage set at 22221 MByte/sec have been achieved by a lot of overclockers.  French overclocker zwitterion93 was the quickest, in order to obtain 1st place. 

• Stage3: Catzilla 720P

Nvidiaforever2 achieved 41174 marks with a Matrix GTX 980 to take first place for this benchmark.
