    Beyond the cost difference between these two ASUS ROG motherboards, the B660 chipset seem already very capable for building a PC configuration dedicated for gaming. However, if you would like to overclock your processor or if you need more PCI-Express 16x extension ports, then the Strix Z690-E Gaming WiFi is an excellent choice.

  • ASUS has something else unique; on some of their more luxurious motherboards, starting with the Z690-E ROG Strix, they've put an M.2 slot on the motherboard which is PCI-Express 5.0 ready.
