ROG Raikiri

The ROG Raikiri PC controller features two rear buttons, left and right triggers with short and full range of motion plus dead zone customization, built-in ESS DAC for supreme audio, joystick sensitivity and response curve customization. The ROG Raikiri is ideal for gaming on PC, laptop or the next gen Xbox console.

ASUS is no stranger to the gaming controller market. Before the Raikiri series, ASUS released the Asus TV500BG back in 2016; they has also released several controllers designed for the ROG phone. One can say that Asus is perhaps the only multi-principal electronic brand with significant expertise other than console manufacturers themselves.

Best Performance

After trying out a football game like FIFA, the feeling is similar to the original XBOX controller. The quality of the controller is also good. I tried adjusting the distance of the top button to try playing a racing game like NFS Unbound, which gave a clearly better result. I can use the accelerator pedal in detail.

The ROG Raikiri is a very aesthetically pleasing pad, to be used exclusively with a cable, and has been specially designed for gaming. The integrated ESS DAC is great for improving the perceived sound during gaming and the grip is excellent, ensuring a stable grip. The possibility of customising the pad is very good. The price is affordable.

ASUS ROG Raikiri is a flexible gamepad for X-box and PC. It has a solid body, precise triggers, backlight and convenient software setting.

Overall, the gamepad is cool, the only issue is the price, as always for ROG. Although you save on the sound card, which is pretty decent here, so the sound will be a nice bonus.

So for PC gamers who play with a gamepad, console players with X-Box and just fans of ROG products - the gamepad is still worth considering before purchasing.
