Gaming enthusiasts everywhere cheered the advent of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX TM 30-series graphics cards. This high-powered lineup shattered boundaries with its generation-on-generation performance improvements. Now, we’re ready to bring GeForce RTX technologies to an even wider audience than ever before. Armed with 8GB of VRAM, robust cooling, and exceptional durability, the new ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3050 8GB, ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3050 8GB, and ASUS Phoenix GeForce RTX 3050 8GB stand ready to upgrade your gaming rig.

ROG Strix leads the way

Built on the DNA of the Ampere stablemates that came before it, the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3050 8GB and ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3050 OC Edition 8GB deliver potent gaming performance, cool temperatures, and whisper-quiet noise levels for those who dare. Chiseled cutouts, angular lines, and metallic accents lend the shroud an air of mastery, while an addressable RGB LED ROG logo on the backplate and a full-length light strip let you coordinate the look of your build through Aura Sync.

This aggressively-styled shroud wraps a beefy 2.7-slot heatsink built to wick heat away from the GPU’s hotspots through a baseplate finished with our MaxContact process. This finish improves contact with the GPU chip itself, increasing heat transfer into the heatpipes and fin stack above. The baseplate also covers the card's GDDR6 memory modules to keep them running at optimal temperatures.

A trio of nine-blade Axial-tech fans keep a steady stream of cooling air moving through the high-surface-area fin stack so that the GPU can sustain its highest level of performance throughout your gaming sessions. To minimize turbulence and focus the air stream on the heat-producing components, the side fans spin counterclockwise. The vented backplate offers a key assist in the cooling process by allowing hot air from the heatsink to more easily enter your case’s natural airflow path, and a pair of FanConnect II headers lets you dedicate case fans to the control of the GPU so that you get the cooling performance you need while gaming. When the graphics card is idle or under light loads, its fans can drop into 0dB mode for silent operation.

The ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3050 is built from the ground up to maintain a high level of performance over the long term. Extra-durable SAP II capacitors are ready to stand up to heavy loads in tandem with premium chokes and MOSFETs. The Auto-Extreme assembly technology —used across our GeForce RTX 3050 lineup—picks, places, and solders each component to the card's PCB without any human interaction for maximum precision and reliability.

Compact ASUS Dual and ASUS Phoenix cards deliver outsized performance

The triple-fan cooling solution of the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3050 8GB offers supreme cooling power, but a microATX or Mini-ITX case might not have the dimensions to contain it. For your smaller build, the ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3050 8GB, ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3050 OC Edition 8GB, and ASUS Phoenix GeForce RTX 3050 8GB pack GeForce RTX gaming prowess and great cooling performance into slimmed-down, compact packages.

The Dual GeForce RTX 3050 8GB harnesses a pair of fans with our proven Axial-tech design to maintain airflow on a dense array of heatpipes and fins. 0dB lets those fans drop down into silent operation when loads and temperatures permit. Subtle lighting cues and a minimalist design make this graphics card an unobtrusive addition to any build.

Need something even smaller? The ASUS Phoenix GeForce RTX 3050 8GB brings the power of Ampere in a compact design that’s a great fit for machines of all sizes. Armed with a sturdy aluminum backplate, dual ball fan bearings, and an Axial-tech fan, this graphics card offers the gaming and cooling performance you demand in a slim, short package.

As with the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3050 8GB, the ASUS Dual and ASUS Phoenix cards employ our Auto-Extreme assembly technology to ensure long-term reliability. A special protective conformal coating on the PCBs of the Phoenix cards goes a step further by protecting them against any potential short-circuits caused by moisture, dust, and debris. What’s more, we subject these graphics cards to a grueling 144-hour validation process to ensure that each one is built to go the distance.

More options for GeForce RTX

The latest generation of NVIDIA graphics cards brings a wealth of new technologies to amp up your gaming experience. If you’re still on the sidelines looking in at everything that GeForce RTX 30-series GPUs have to offer, it’s time to upgrade with an ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3050 8GB, ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3050 8GB, or ASUS Phoenix GeForce RTX 3050 8GB.
