DOTA 2 fan in the UK? It’s the year of ASUS ROG at Insomnia, and in keeping with that we’re hosting a £6,500 prize tournament at Insomnia 52. 64 teams will have the chance to gain free entry to the ASUS ROG Dota 2 Cup, by battling their way through a single elimination bracket containing the best that Europe has to offer.

The ASUS ROG Tournament is coming to Germany. On December 6th and 7th, one of the world’s biggest StarCraft II tournaments will take place at NorthCon. This year’s tournament roster will include 16 players competing live on the ASUS ROG stage for a prize pool of $25,000 USD. The ASUS ROG Tournament will consist of one group stage, followed by single elimination playoffs. The thrilling live matches will be commentated by well-known casters such as Thomas "Khaldor" Kilian. Released today the GeForce GTX 670 DirectCU Mini is a compact high-performance graphics card designed primarily for small form factor PCs with mini-ITX motherboards. The Mini features a dual-slot cooler design, and measures just 17cm long, compared with 24.13cm for a reference GeForce GTX 670. Don't let the size fool you though, the GTX 670 DirectCU Mini features a full GTX 670, Direct X 11.1 capable, graphics core and 2GB of GDDR5 memory.

Where high-performance CPUs have dropped in power consumption, graphics cards mostly have shown the opposite trend. Their size makes it difficult to find cases to accommodate them. While Nvidia's GTX 670 tries to buck the trend with a small 6.75" (~17cm) PCB, it's always fitted with a far larger cooler.
