ASUS, with its first custom fan design in the form of the ROG STRIX XF 120, has clearly followed the path of high quality and balanced functionality. From our experience, it is a surprisingly powerful, quiet and actually universal 120mm model, which is definitely worth considering. I assume that we will probably see other models, including the RGB variant, or a larger 140mm version.

The Strix XF120's silent fan bearings are a balm to the ears during operation. Like Noctua fans, they are noiseless. Hand in hand with the very low friction also goes very low power consumption, as the force the motor has to overcome is only very small.
