    The ROG HFX Magnetic Switches utilize POM plastic for its stem and bottom housing, and PC for the top housing to provide ultrasmooth keystrokes. Additionally, the walled stem design enhances stability and keeps out dust. Special tuning is also done, coupled with factory pre-lubing, to give the ROG HFX Magnetic keystroke a very solid and clean sound.

    Customizable Actuation Point

    The ROG HFX Magnetic Switches offer an adjustable actuation range from 0.1 to 4.0 mm to cater to all typing preferences. Tweaking the actuation point can be done via the multi-function button and touch panel, or through Armoury Crate software.

    Rapid Trigger

    Traditional mechanical switches require a return to the reset point before the next click registers. With ROG HFX Magnetic Switches and the Rapid Trigger feature, the switch resets instantly as it moves upward, delivering maximum counter-strafing potential with minimal effort.

    • Customizable Actuation Point

      With the ROG Hall Sensor and HFX V2 Magnetic Switch, the 0.1–3.5 mm actuation range of the Falcata can be adjusted in precise 0.01 mm increments. The actuation point can be tweaked via the multi-function wheel or web-based Gear Link interface.

    • ROG Hall Effect Technology

      Leveraging the increased magnetic flux tolerance of the HFX V2 Magnetic Switch, the IC is now directly mounted on the PCB, allowing it to be positioned closer to the magnet without being affected by board thickness. This further enhances magnetic sensing accuracy without affecting saturation.

Speed Tap Mode

In Speed Tap mode, as soon as the system detects the input of two keys (e.g. A and D), it will prioritize the last input and automatically release the previous one. This means that in FPS games, pressing two opposing directional keys will no longer cause the character to stop moving. Instead, directional changes can now be done immediately without releasing the previous key, eliminating any time gap for counter-strafing and ensuring precise aim every time.


*By default, Speed Tap is turned off. To activate it, press Fn + Tab or Fn + Caps simultaneously - depending on your model.

Light-Speed Actuation

Unlike traditional mechanical switches, the ROG RX optical mechanical switches have near-zero debounce delay that allow your triggers to be ahead of your opponents always.

Wobble-Free Balanced Keypress

The ROG RX optical mechanical switch utilizes a unique hollow square stem, four corner latches and X-stabilizer to eliminate keystroke wobble and ensures consistent keystrokes.

CONSISTENT KEYSTROKE

Under lab conditions, ROG RX optical mechanical switches show little to no force curve deviance when keys are pressed on different areas of the keycap.

Consistency Breeds Muscle Memory
