COMPUTEX 2016: New ROG Displays & Gear for Immersion and Control
ROG delivered again at COMPUTEX 2016, for the 10th anniversary ROG put on a display (pun intended). Actually a whole bunch of displays, latest and upcoming, VR and multi-display setups, all to bring you into the game. A selection of peripherals and accessories will also help to bring realism by superior control, and bags to ensure your precious ROG gear makes it to and from LAN parties in one piece and without a scratch.
ROG Swift PG258Q
As you can easily tell, this is Swift PG348Q's little bro. The specs are not finalized but we can say that it's a 25-inch display worth drooling over. Check out the detail and the vibrant colors! The new ROG G31 on the right is a compact beast of a PC, what a great combo for some ultra-smooth gameplay in DOOM!
ROG Swift PG248Q: Fast and glorious super-narrow-bezel gaming display
Swift PG248Q is a new 24-inch Full-HD (1920x1080) resolution gaming display that is ready for G-SYNC, and the overclockable 180Hz refresh rate and 1ms grey-to-grey (GTG) response time help eliminate screen tearing and choppy frame rates. Swift PG248Q also boasts ASUS-exclusive GamePlus including crosshair, timer, FPS counter, Display Alignment and GameVisual technologies for six preset display modes. The super-narrow-bezel design is brilliant for surround-display setups, at COMPUTEX 2016, three were hooked up for everybody to play some DOOM!
ROG Swift PG27AQ
If you have more power than mere mortals and you want to play Rise of the Tomb Raider on a triple-display setup. Three Swift PG27AQs will allow you to play in 12K (three 4K displays). Is your desk big enough?
ROG Centurion: True 7.1 gaming headset
Centurion is ROG’s upcoming gaming headset with true 7.1-channel surround-sound using through ten individual neodymium-magnet drivers (five in each ear). It includes a noise-canceling digital microphone and a Hi-Fi-grade ESS headphone amplifier.
