ESL One New York will use ROG Swift PG248Q gaming monitors
The Republic of Gamers is proud to be the official monitor provider for ESL One New York 2017. We’re supplying 120 of our ROG Swift PG248Q gaming monitors for the CS:GO tournament, which takes place at the Barclays Center from September 16-17. The monitors will be used for all of the tournament matches and also be available for attendees to try for themselves.
Esports professionals represent the pinnacle of speed and precision, and they need a monitor that can keep up. The 24” PG248Q delivers with an ultra-fast 180Hz refresh rate and 1-ms response time that give pro players a clear view of the battleground even in the most frenetic melees. Low input lag ensures that every action is immediately visible, heightening their connection to the game, and the 1080p resolution makes it easy to saturate the display.
While the panel is carefully tuned for the needs of competitive play, the rest of the monitor features creature comforts for everyday gaming. Its fully adjustable stand lets you quickly tweak the height, swivel, and tilt for an ideal ergonomic position. ASUS Eye Care technology makes gaming more comfortable for your eyes by providing a flicker-free backlight and blue-light filter to take the edge off of marathon sessions and late-night play.
Attendees can try the Swift PG248Q at the ASUS ROG booth and get involved in lots of other activities. You’ll be able to win prizes in 2v2 and 1v1 CS:GO matches along with special challenges like knife battles. We’ll also be giving away two of the monitors in an event-wide raffle, so you don’t need mad skills for a shot at awesome hardware. Plenty of other ROG products will be on display, including the ultra-slim Zephyrus gaming laptop, new SCAR and Hero editions of the Strix GL Series notebooks, GT51 and Strix GD30 desktops with GTX 1080 Ti graphics, and our GR8 II mini PC.
Matches from the main stage will be streaming at our booth, so you won’t miss any of the action as pro teams Astralis, Virtus.pro, Natus Vincere, SK Gaming, FaZe Clan, Team Liquid, Team ENVYUS, and Cloud9 vye for victory and $250,000 USD in cash prizes. If you can’t attend the event, you can follow the tournament on the ESL One site.
