999 Multiplayer FPS Game Breaks World Record
Battlefield 3 (PC Version) is an FPS game that allows up to 64 players capped in brutal online war zones. Personally as an avid gamer myself and 64 players in a map is more than enough to create chaos.
How about 999 players? Nope, I'm not joking. "Much Different", a Swedish non-profit organisation, came up with an idea that demonstrates the possibilities of a new kind of technology for massive online games. And out came a once in a life time world record breaking feat of 999 player online FPS mayhem. Notice that I mentioned "once in a life time" as this isn't a server you can just hop on unfortunately.
