The Extreme is focused on bundling OC tools such as OC Key, (Subzero Sense onboard) and ProbeIt connectors, along with more general accessories like the mPCIe Combo card pre-fitted with an 802.11n WiFi/Bluetooth 4.0 card. Let's just grab a quick view of the inside covers:
OK now crack it open and we find motherboard on one side and peripherals on another:
Firstly there's the manual (with driver DVD buried inside), SATA cable stickers so you can identify them,
Now for the overclocking kit! There's OC Key at the bottom, along with the necessary adapter cable plugged in. The other end can be plugged into either the Maximus V Extreme or Rampage IV Extreme. The white USB cable is for ROG Connect and the two adapter cables are for hooking up a persistent multimeter setup to the ProbeIt in the top corner.
The mPCIe Combo card comes pre-fitted with an 802.11n WiFi card. The adapter cable is use to wire up the antenna through the holes in the Q-shield above.
Every multi-GPU you might need: 4-way SLI, 3-way SLI, 2-way SLI and even an extra CrossFire cable is included (AMD graphics cards usually come bundled with their own crossfire connectors). Naturally all are ROG branded as you can see below!
The eight SATA cables are a mix between right angled and straight ended, while the PCI bracket combines two extra USB 2.0 ports and an eSATA adapter.
