The design reflects the military toughness of TUF’s Sabertooth motherboards. Hede’s vision was to have a military vehicle carrying a complete high-performance computer, with most of the components visible. The radio-controlled military truck was chosen for its space and overall design. The idea was also to match it to one of Hede’s previous builds also based on the TUF Sabertooth Z97 Mark S — Sabranco Humvee. Hede applied matte-black paintwork to lend Rockcrawler X99 a stealthy finish.
