Gunslinger Breaks Multiple World Records With 6.4GHz 4960X On Rampage IV Black Edition
ROG forumer, Gunslinger, recently cracked several world records on his Rampage IV Black Edition with 4960X under LN2 clocked at 6.4GHz (all cores). He described the experience with the R4BE below: This motherboard is very strong. I used the basic LN2 #1 profile already set in the bios, and adjusted the key voltages, bclock and memory settings from there. Having the profiles is very nice, makes benching much more enjoyable knowing the basics are set right, and that you just need to make minor adjustments to get the system up to speed and very stable. By flicking the LN2 mode jumper, the two LN2 profiles open up as below: [gallery include="" size="medium" link="file" template="file-gallery" columns="2"] System:
- Rampage IV Black Edition
- Intel Core i7 4960X
- 8GB (4 x 2GB) Corsair Dominator GTX3 memory
- Corsair AX1200 PSU
- Kingpin F1 Dark CPU LN2 pot
- 1st in HWBot prime
