The Rampage IV GENE launched earlier this month, and if you're thinking about building a micro ATX monster of a system but are wondering what else  you get with the GENE - below we're unboxing it to show you what else you get in its bundle.

If you're looking for an overview of the board itself, check out our previous article here.

Let us know if you'd like to know any more about the Rampage IV GENE, in the forums.

First of all - the box itself. You'll notice it's square unlike most motherboard boxes. That's because it mirrors the micro ATX board inside which is also square: 244 mm × 244 mm (9.6 in × 9.6 in). You'll note on the corner it shows itself as being PCIe 3.0 Ready. With the latest UEFI BIOS updates PCI-Express 3.0 is enabled for Radeon HD 7000 series and future Nvidia series graphics cards, so be sure to update with BIOS Flashback or other included BIOS updating tools.

With everything out the box, make sure your work surface is big enough. Six black SATA cables with white tips start this off: four of them have 90 degree ends to make the cables and connectors sit neater if your HDD are stacked.
