Watch DrWeez's Overclocking Livestream Sessions
Been looking to improve your overclocking skills? Can't get any better than watching an extreme professional overclocker live and asking him instantaneous questions to get some tips and tweaks!
Who is DrWeez?
DrWeez comes from South Africa and he is an extreme overclocker ranked #22 in the worldwilde HWBOT overclockers ranking. He first began overclocking back in 2009 and hasn't stopped since. A year ago, he decided to start doing livestream on Twitch in order to share his overclocking skills and help others push their hardware safely to the next level.
Tour of DrWeez's OC Lab
Just as an artisan will require a workshop, professional overclockers also need dedicated space to do overclocking. In his house, DrWeez setup a special lab designed and dedicated for overclocking. The main area is reserved for benching with a quick access to all the necessary tools and overclocking accessories. This is the place where DrWeez spends a minimum of 6 hours every week preparing his gear, practicing and compete in online overclocking tournaments.
The other side is arranged to accommodate the technical elements to host his streams. That area has a stream PC - a powerfull machine that is capturing his screen (including the BIOS), a chat monitoring screen, several cameras and lights.
Different levels of overclocking
In order to accomodate the audience, DrWeez came up with different types of sessions. Starting from beginners on air cooling to the most extreme using liquid nitrogen (-196°) to cool down the system. You can directly watch the livestream on DrWeez_OC or watch the replays on his YouTube channel. If you missed one of his sessions, you can watch his worklogs videos which are quick recaps of the sessions.
