The event was a huge success as they achieved 5 World Records (WR) and 5 Global First Places (GFP) during the event.
They mostly focused on legacy benchmarks and CPU benchmarks so the Z170 and X99 platforms were chosen for the task. The hardware which helped them get there included the ROG Rampage V Edition 10, Maximus VIII Impact and Extreme. As for graphics cards, the ROG Matrix GTX 980 Ti, ROG Strix GTX 1080 and Titan X (Pascal) were used.
They reached a maximum CPU frequency of 6,815MHz with an Intel Core i7-6700K to obtain the 3DMark2001SE World Record.

In search of more power, smoke and Xtreme_Addict decided to add an ASUS Power Card to increase the performance of the Titan X graphics card. Due to the level of difficulty and precision required, it is not recommended to try this at home.
