Memory masters G.Skill have just announced a new memory frequency world record of 4,072MHz for a quad channel DDR3 kit. This beats the previous record set just a week ago by the ROG OC team in San Francisco's OC Main Event.

G.Skill used its 16GB (4x4GB) quad-channel TridentX kit on the upcoming Rampage IV Black Edition, with Core i7-4960X processor and LN2 extreme cooling.
