With the ROG NUC, your only limit is your own creativity

One of our favorite things about the PC enthusiasts in the Republic of Gamers is just how creative many of you are. Not in the sense that you’re doing creative professional work, though ROG machines certainly get deployed for those tasks, but in how you put your full setups together, and in the ways and places that you use your PCs. When we browse your comments on the ROG Discord channel, at the ASUS PC DIY Community, or the ASUS ROG subreddit, we’re continually floored by the PC rigs that you put together.

Without throwing shade at battle stations built around gaming laptops and full-sized desktops and gaming, there’s something about smaller PCs that seems to pull out the best from enthusiasts. Perhaps it’s the way that a pint-sized computer can run in places where other PCs won’t even fit, empowering users to bring the performance versatility of a full Windows 11 PC to surprising locations.

With all this in mind, we’re eager to see what you’ll accomplish with the all-new ROG NUC. The 2025 model offers unprecedented performance, incredible connectivity, and bolstered cooling in a sleek 3L chassis, giving you the ability to unleash potent PC performance in nearly any scenario. Let’s take a closer look at how this pint-sized performer’s next-gen upgrades give you new options for bringing PC power to places where other computers won’t even fit.

Powerful components, effortless cooling

We’ll start with a peek under the hood. The 2025 ROG NUC offers dazzling performance in a compact design. It starts with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 275HX, a 24-core beast that can boost up to 5.4GHz. Part of Intel’s mobile series of processors, it delivers muscular performance in an efficient 55W base power profile. We pair this chip with up to 16GB of DDR5-6400 memory for speedy multitasking.

Potent graphics power comes courtesy of up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 Laptop GPU. This next-gen chip needs no introduction: already, NVIDIA 50 Series GPUs have proven their mettle in for next-gen gaming experiences, AI workflows, and creative professional work alike.

NVIDIA 50 Series chips provide access to DLSS, a revolutionary suite of neural rendering technologies that use AI to boost FPS, reduce latency, and improve image quality. The latest breakthrough, DLSS 4, brings new Multi Frame Generation and enhanced Ray Reconstruction and Super Resolution, powered by GeForce RTX™ 50 Series GPUs and fifth-generation Tensor Cores.

It’s fair to ask how such premium components can thrive inside the tight confines of a 3L chassis. A new cooling design makes sure that these chips keep their cool under pressure, giving you throttle-free performance. The ROG NUC uses two vapor chambers to effectively wick heat away from the system’s primary components, while three fans keep a stream of cooling air moving through the chassis. A dedicated SSD heatsink stands ready to tame the heat of high-performance drives. Put together, these innovations ensure sustained performance at a noise level that won’t pose a distraction.

Wide-ranging display options

The 2025 ROG NUC gives you options for driving a display that would make many full-size desktops blush. On the rear panel of this mini PC, you’ll find two HDMI 2.1 FRL ports, two DisplayPort 2.1 ports, and a Thunderbolt® 4 port that’s ready to drive a display, as well.

That gives you five total display outputs in three different connector types, making it easy to connect the ROG NUC to just about any display you own. Whether you’re connecting PC monitors, televisions, or portable displays, it’ll be easy to get it all hooked up.

Access to ASUS Power Sync makes it even more convenient to take advantage of the ROG NUC’s wide-ranging display connectivity options. For example, you might be looking for a living room PC gaming setup that places your ROG NUC behind a massive television. With such a setup, it might be hard to reach around the TV to power on the ROG NUC, but with Power Sync activated, you won’t have to. When used with a display with HDMI CEC technology, Power Sync allows you to turn on both devices using the power button of the display. The versatile connection options you need

Wide-ranging connectivity options make sure that the ROG NUC slots in easily to almost any setup ranging from a gaming rig to a music production studio, from a game development desk to a video editing station. We’ll start with the aforementioned Thunderbolt® 4 port. In addition to its ability to send a display signal, it’s also ready for blazing-fast transfer speeds and fast charging, too. A second USB Type-C port, this one a USB 10Gbps variant, awaits on the front panel.

On top of that, you get a fleet of USB Type-A ports, four USB 10Gbps ports on the back and two USB 5Gbps ports on the front. You’ll have plenty of spots to plug in a mouse, keyboard, webcam, and more, all without needing a dongle or dock.

You’ll get premium networking options, too. A 2.5Gb Ethernet port awaits those who prefer the proven reliability of a wired connection. But don’t sleep on the ROG NUC’s WiFi 7 capabilities. Key advances underneath the hood of WiFi 7 allow it to offer wire-like performance. Pair this mini-PC with a WiFi 7 gaming router, and you might not need to have an Ethernet cable stretched across your living space anymore.

Hassle-free maintenance and upgrades

Your typical mini-PC isn’t always easy to open for routine maintenance or upgrades, but the ROG NUC isn’t your typical mini-PC. Despite what its sleek design and super-compact layout might suggest, it’s actually quite easy to access its internals. Unscrew one thumbscrew, and you’ll be able to gently slide the case up to open it.

easy integration

Once it’s open, you’ll have a clear pathway to give it a good cleaning. We’ve also made the DDR5 SO-DIMM slots easy to access so that you can bulk up its memory capacity down the road. Need a bit more storage for your game library? Both of the ROG NUC’s M.2 slots are easily within reach, too.

A sleek new design

Since we bolstered the 2025 ROG NUC with so many internal upgrades over its predecessor, it only made sense to give it an all-new aesthetic, as well. We crafted this mini-PC for easy integration into just about any scenario where you might want to sit down and game. The ROG NUC includes a stand in the box, making it easy to get the optimal thermal performance afforded by a vertical orientation. Slip it behind your monitor or sneak it into a gap in your entertainment center for clutter-free couch gaming.

Customizable RGB lighting on the front upper edge and along the ROG Fearless Eye logo on the side panel give you an easy way to customize the look of your ROG NUC. This mini-PC's sleek lines and high-quality materials will easily align with your favorite gaming gear for a cohesive look that wears its gaming allegiance loud and proud.

Available in a variety of configurations

For potent PC performance that fits in just about anywhere, it’s hard to beat the ROG NUC. Forged with a futuristic new design, next-gen components, exceptional connectivity, and a high-end cooling solution, it’s ready to deliver premium gaming experiences in places where other PCs won’t even fit.
