Although the ROG Gladius III Wireless lacks a Macro menu, it is still in the top three mice we have ever tested. While we may be new to their peripherals, we have seen that ASUS certainly knows what they are doing in this segment.

Now on its third iteration, the ROG Gladius has been improved further, featuring a lighter shell design with an updated sensor and push fit socket design. That translates to an even more ergonomic mouse with the same yet loved overall shape of the outgoing model. Performance however is a step back compared to the Gladius II – least based on our tests even with the 2nd gen’s peculiar polling rate performance.

All in all, the Gladius III is a perfect gaming mouse stifled by the price tag. I’m also a bit bitter with the lack of the ROG pouch. Why did they remove it while making the whole thing more expensive? It doesn’t make sense.

ASUS ROG Gladius III is a great lineup update; Compared to the previous version, both models, both wired and wireless, have significantly reduced weight and an updated sensor. Other advantages - first of all, good ergonomics, high responsiveness and the ability to replace switches - also did not disappear.

The Gladius has been great to play with, although I'm used to ergonomically different types of mice. In terms of design and software, this is a great mouse. The weight of 89 grams is a small miracle considering the dimensions. Bluetooth and 2.4 Ghz support makes the mouse a versatile gaming and work tool. Great pads, precision and comfort will please many a demanding gamer.

The price corresponds to the processing and design and functionality in all directions. The price/performance ratio is solid, but not exceptional, and it is not a mouse where affordable price is a priority. The main thing here is simply the quality of design and equipment. So I like to recommend both variants (wired and wireless). There are never enough quality computer 'rodents' and these will definitely not be lost.
