Congratulations to German overclocker Boris "stummerwinter" Küntzlez , on setting new world record in Unigine Heaven - Xtreme Preset and taking second position in 3DMark 03.

In order for Boris to smash the existing Unigine - Xtreme Preset world record, he had to overclock both the ARES II to a clock speed of 1230MHz (core) / 7000MHz (mem) and pair it up with the Maximus V Extreme.  Liquid nitrogen cooled the Intel Core i7-3770K running at a monstrous speed of 6,543MHz. After much tweaking, a new world record was born: an impressive score of X8510.6!

Running a similar system, but with Intel Core i7-3770K clocking at 6,678MHz, Boris managed to take second position in 3DMark 03 with a score of 275,010.
