Dancop, the German overclocker who is currently the world's top overclocker in the HWBOT Overclockers League managed to push the ROG Strix GTX 1080 (with the help of some LN2) to new heights.  Now the fastest GPU Boost Clock on a GTX 1080 is 2645MHz!

His achievement is now established in the GPUPI - 1B benchmark in the 1 x GPU category. This was made possible with the ROG Rampage V Edition 10 motherboard and an Intel Core i7-6950X processor, both the GPU and CPU were under LN2 to get this result. The card was first tested on air, and he reached a stable performance at 2227MHz on GPUPI - 1B for the GPU Boost clock!

Compared to the stock performance on a Strix GTX 1080:

OC Mode - GPU Boost Clock : 1936 MHz (37% performance gain) , GPU Base Clock : 1784 MHz (50% performance gain)
Gaming Mode (Default) - GPU Boost Clock : 1898 MHz , GPU Base Clock : 1759 MHz

The GPU base clock on the Founder Edition is 1607MHz (64.59% performance gain

1080 OC
