ROG powers DreamHack Masters Las Vegas
ROG is proud to be the main sponsor of DreamHack Masters Las Vegas. The eSports competition pits 16 of the world’s best CS:GO teams against each other in a battle for the second DreamHack Masters Champion title—and $450,000 in cash prizes. The action goes down at the MGM Grand and Garden Arena in Las Vegas from February 15-19.
High-level competition requires the right gear, so we’re outfitting the event with cutting-edge hardware. The pros will play and practice on ROG G20 and G11 desktops equipped with quad-core Intel Core i7 CPUs and NVIDIA GeForce graphics. Those machines will be connected to ROG Swift PG248Q gaming monitors, whose ultra-fast 180Hz refresh rates and 1-ms response times are perfect for competitive play. The casters covering the event will stream to the masses with our new ROG GL553 gaming laptops.
In addition to featuring a pro tournament, DreamHack Masters Las Vegas includes an expo area where attendees can try the latest gaming products and meet eSports personalities. The ROG booth is open from February 18-19. Erik “fl0m” Flom from our Join the Republic campaign will make appearances on both days, while Ryan “fREAKAZOiD” Abadir of ROG-sponsored team Echo Fox will come by on February 19.
Gamers who visit our booth can play CS:GO on a range of ROG systems, including our premium GT51 desktop, console-sized GR8 II, and a diverse range of potent laptops. The gaming stations will also have high-refresh ROG Swift PG279Q and PG248Q monitors, plus ROG peripherals like our RGB-infused Claymore keyboard. Hardware junkies will be able to see some of our new Z270 motherboards, like the record-setting Maximus IX Apex, liquid-ready Maximus IX Formula, and Mini-ITX Strix Z270I. And our latest graphics cards will be there along with the head crab RT-AC5300 gaming router.
If you’re going to be at DreamHack Masters Las Vegas, be sure to check us out at booth #111. You can also follow the event remotely by tuning in to @DreamHackCSGO and @ASUSUSA on Twitter and watching matches on the Twitch live stream.
