Unboxing The MATRIX HD 7970

The new ROG MATRIX HD 7970 graphics card has just launched and if you're teetering on the edge of buying or just want to see what the box offers, then let us commence with the unboxing! And the back: Firmly packed between copious amounts of foam for safety. Out the box, one MATRIX card is almost ready to go... Because it needs the rear protective sticker peeling first. It's an extremely satisfying maneuver. Underneath there's another box of goodies: Diablo 3 mouse mat in cooperation with Blizzard and Steelseries, a quick start guide and driver disc too. We recommend checking the AMD website for the latest Catalyst drivers. There's also:

• A CrossFire cable
• DVI to VGA adapter
• 2x 6-pin to 8-pin power adapter
• ROG case badge
• VGA Hotwire plugs for use with a Rampage IV Extreme or Maximus V Extreme
