The ROG Stream Team welcomes four new members

In 2016, we started our first ever ROG Stream Team with four streamers: MaximilianDood, Grimmmz, Pokimane, and Kephrii. We're continuing to grow our family of gaming personalities who live and breathe ROG, and today we're announcing four new members. Welcome xChocoBars, Lirik, Dr DisRespect, and Dethridge!

"Hi! My name is Janet. I am 22 years old from Toronto, Canada, and I mainly stream League of Legends, but I enjoy playing other games as well. A few genres I have currently been loving are FPS, MMO’s, Telltale, and simulation games. I have been streaming on Twitch for over four years, and in my spare time, I like to binge watch anime/TV shows, read books, and play even more games. I love making people happy, so I started streaming with the goal to entertain and spread those good vibes."

xChocoBars has been streaming many different games on Twitch from quite some time. To elevate her gaming and streaming experiences, we’re giving her an ROG Strix GD30 gaming desktop equipped with GeForce GTX 1080 graphics and a Core i7 processor along with an ROG Orion headset, Claymore Core mechanical keyboard, Gladius II mouse, and Sheath mousepad.

"I grew up using ASUS products, so when their gaming brand, "ROG," reached out to me, I was ecstatic. My first stream ever was actually broadcast from an ASUS laptop that belonged to my big brother. I am delighted and proud to be on their team and I look forward to learning and growing with them."

You can catch xChocoBars live on Twitch and follow her on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.

Lirik

lirik

Lirik started off his Twitch career by live-streaming World of Warcraft back in 2011, but a year later, he began regularly streaming DayZ, an open-world survival game. Now, he plays PlayerUnknown’s Battleground and a variety of other games. At 26 years old, he has amassed over 1.6 million Twitch followers and has over 168 million views on his channel alone. He even has his own subreddit dedicated to discussing his streams and more.

To help Lirik stream a variety of games, we provided an ROG Swift PG258Q gaming monitor with an ultra-high 240Hz refresh rate and G-Sync capabilities. He can have All the Frames in any game he plays. You can catch Lirik on Twitch and also find him on YouTube, Twitter, and Instagram.

Dr DisRespect

If you were to ask fans or viewers what Dr DisRespect looks like, the responses may include one or all of these words: mullet, mustache, and sunglasses. Known for his brash and hardcore personality, Dr DisRespect channels all of his efforts into H1Z1: King of the Kill and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds daily. However, to really understand the badassery of Dr Disrespect, you have to take a look at the following 1-on-1 stand-off in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (skip ahead to 5:36).

When asked about his newly acquired sponsorship with ROG, Dr DisRespect had this to say: "As a multi-international video game superstar in the online gaming community, I only want the best results and that is why I have teamed up with ASUS ROG. I'm looking forward to using their latest hardware to compliment my speed and momentum to ensure all these baby punk kids have no chance against the Doc."

To help the Doc achieve greatness in H1Z1 and in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, we’re providing him with an ROG GT51 gaming desktop and G701 gaming laptop, so he can get the best streaming and gaming performance possible, along with an ROG Swift PG258Q monitor to give him an edge in his matches. You can catch Dr DisRespect on Twitch or Youtube, and also follow him on Twitter.

Dethridge

Before becoming a streamer, Dethridge created Call of Duty commentary videos on YouTube. It was during this time when he realized that he loved to talk about video games and game culture. One day, when he was browsing YouTube, he discovered Twitch through a World of Warcraft creator’s blog (Towelliee), and he instantly fell in love with the concept of live streaming. From that day forward, Dethridge decided to save up for a streaming rig in the hopes of pursuing his dream on Twitch. He became a Twitch partner in 2013 and has amassed over 270,000 followers on the platform since the start of his career four years ago.

"I am a variety streamer who will play just about anything. Mainly though, I love being a part of a conversation. Simulator games and building games allow for some downtime where I can just play and chat with my viewers. When we play other games and experience them, one of my favorite things to do is to talk about them. You can also find me playing a lot of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds!"

Dethridge’s story of falling in love with live streaming moved us, so we wanted to help him further achieve his Twitch dream by giving him an ROG Strix GD30 gaming desktop, Swift PG278Q gaming monitor with a 144Hz refresh rate and G-Sync, Claymore Core mechanical keyboard, Gladius II mouse, and Sheath mousepad.

When asked Dethridge about his feelings regarding ROG sponsorship, he said: "It really is a dream come true. I have been streaming on Twitch for over four years, and I pour my heart and soul into it. From the time I wake up to the time I go to sleep, it’s nearly all I think about. Being a part of an amazing community alone is the greatest feeling in the world. With an amazing company like ASUS ROG recognizing this and wanting to provide a means of pursuing this dream even further, it means the world. I am proud and honored to be a part of the Republic of Gamers."

Catch Dethridge on Twitch, and check him out on Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.
